MORE THAN JUST WORLD CLASS SNORKELING
Some of our favorite snorkel sites: The Farm, Black Magic, Dolphin Bay, Wall Street. We are constantly doing exploratory snorkel trips to new and untouched reefs; that's how remote we are. You might discover a new snorkel site!
In good weather and conditions, we generally offer at least one guided snorkel trip each day during the 5-night Adventure Cruise. While the snorkeling and scuba diving is definitely a highlight, you will also enjoy a variety of adventure and cultural activities.
In addition to snorkeling other adventure activities include sea kayaking, river kayaking, rainforest hiking, scuba diving, sailing and more. Our onboard instructors and divemasters have years of experience with top liveaboards from around the world and have extensive history of snorkeling and diving in Fiji. The cultural immersion of the expedition includes several village visits and discovery of traditional customs of Polynesian and Melanesian people.
Wanna try Scuba Diving?
What if you’ve never been scuba diving in your life? In that case, you have an amazing opportunity: A course called Discover Scuba Diving, taught by our onboard PADI Dive Instructor - absolutely no prior diving experience necessary. Tui Tai is certified with the Professional Association of Dive Instructors (PADI) as an Intenational Resort Dive Boat. We provide all your equipment. Standing in shallow water with our instructor, you are guided to merely bend down till you’re underwater. That’s how you become familiar with the scuba gear – and if there’s any anxiety, you just stand up. After some brief instruction, when you and the instructor feel you’re ready, you go for a real scuba dive at an amazing dive site – with your own personal instructor by your side the whole time.
MARINE BIOLOGY AND CONSERVATION CERTIFICATION
We’re dedicated to supporting conservation of Fiji’s marine ecosystems. One of the ways you can participate in the conservation program is by taking our Marine Biology and Conservation course. The course has been designed in conjunction with the PADI Project Aware and Go-ECO campaigns. This course is a great way to learn about marine conservation efforts and make your own contribution to the cause. The Marine Biology and Conservation course is available to scuba divers AND snorkelers.
The Marine Biology and Conservation Course costs just 75 Fijian Dollars, with a snorkel trip. Everything is included.
TUI TAI ADVENTURE CRUISES
The base of your expedition will be a 140-foot motorized-sailing schooner, the
“A/S Tui Tai.” The Tui Tai is an elegant small ship with air-conditioned cabins
and staterooms, renovated in 2006 to improve its well-earned reputation as the
premier expedition vessel in the South Pacific. The ship carries all its own
kayaks, mountain bikes, snorkel gear, scuba gear and 2 boats for adventure excursions.
The Adventure Cruise is suitable to travelers of all skill and experience levels. While some activities have a moderate strenous option, our staff are well trained to handle even beginners to enjoy all of our activities.
