For scuba divers, this is your chance to dive in Fiji’s 2 most dramatic and world renowned reefs; Rainbow Reef near Taveuni and the Great Astrolabe Reef near Kadavu.
For sea-kayakers, you will experience Fiji’s greatest sea-kayak destinations: the Ringgold Island Atolls in Northern Fiji and the Kadavu/Astrolabe Reef coastline.

REAL FIJI EXPERIENCE
Adventure activities include sea kayaking, river kayaking, rainforest hiking, snorkeling, sailing and more. Snorkelers and scuba divers can enjoy a discovery of two of the most renowned underwater ecosystems in the South Pacific; Taveuni’s “Rainbow Reef” and Kadavu’s “Astrolabe Reef.” The cultural immersion of the expedition includes several village visits and discovery of traditional customs of Polynesian and Melanesian people.
The base of your sea expedition will be a 140-foot motorized-sailing schooner, the “A/S Tui Tai.” The Tui Tai is an elegant small ship with air-conditioned cabins and staterooms, renovated in 2006 to improve its well-earned reputation as the premier expedition vessel in the South Pacific. The ship carries all its own kayaks, mountain bikes, snorkel gear, scuba gear and 2 dive boats.
On the remote and magnificent island of Kadavu, Matava - The Astrolabe Hideaway boasts secluded splendour whilst also satisfying your spirit of adventure. Bordered by the Great Astrolabe Reef and set amidst lush tropical surroundings, Matava is a small and intimate getaway, designed to blend with its natural environment.
